Next Gen Loudoun High School Internship program is a unique opportunity with Loudoun County Government for rising Juniors and Seniors (for the 2026 -2027 School Year) living in Loudoun County to learn about their local government roles and responsibilities. This program's aim is to teach Loudoun's youth about future jobs in their local government whether it be a part time role or a full time position after graduation from high school!
Acceptance into this program will grant you a paid Summer Internship with Loudoun County Government for this upcoming summer break. Loudoun County Human Resources (HR) will pass on your application for review and those selected will have an interview in their chosen department.
What we offer for your internship:
- Select from a variety of internship opportunities.
- Work on meaningful projects and gain insights into your field of interest.
- Receive guidance and support from experienced professionals.
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate commitments.
- Build professional skills like communication, teamwork, and problem solving in a supportive environment.
- Hours Per Week: 20-29 hours
- Compensation: $15/hr
